You must register online via the 'mycause' link on the Unplug website in order to complete 'Unplug'. All areas of the online Registration form must be completed truthfully.
If you are a minor, you must have parental permission to be involved, and the assistance of an adult to set up your fundraising page.
Building Brighter Futures Foundation (BBFF) will keep your details for the purposes of completing 'Unplug' only. Your information will not be used for any other purpose, and will not be shared with any other person, group or organisation.
Raising of Funds
All funds must be managed through the 'mycause' fundraising page.
BBFF will receive details of the funds raised, and they will be transferred directly to BBFF from 'mycause'. A Taxation Receipt will be provided to each sponsor directly from your fundraising page. Sponsors' details will be used only for the purposes of receipting and will not be shared with any other person, group or organisation.
Transfer of Monies
All monies will be transferred to BBFF directly from 'mycause'. If you receive any additional cash donations, you must deposit them via your 'mycause' page, and provide the correct name for receipting purposes.
BBFF will not be responsible for receipting any amounts unless that is organised in advance and the monies are then deposited by direct deposit into the BBFF account.
On completion of 'Unplug', you are welcomed to send a short story of your experience to BBFF. If we wish to use your story on the website, you will be contacted for permission and to provide a photograph to accompany your story.
'Unplug' is an authorised fundraising event conducted by Building Brighter Futures Foundation (BBFF).
Funds collected through this event will be used to support the work that BBFF is doing with poor and vulnerable children and families in Cambodia. For more information about our programs and projects, please visit the BBFF website.
